The Chitalishtes in Cherven bryag Municipality for Accessible Architecture Environment

Ten new Chitalishtes were involved in the initiative of Chitalishte "Svetlina 1999", Cherven bryag for ensuring accessible environment at cultural institutions (Chitalishtes) in the Cherven briag municipality. The activities are carried out by Chitalishte "Svetlina 1999" as part of AGORA Platform's project "Activating Communities through the Chitalishta in Bulgaria: second phase", funded by America for Bulgaria Foundation.
During the two day training on May 27th - 28th, 2011 within the project initiative, the ten Chitalishtes from Cherven bryag Municipality declared their will to get involved in the project activities.
Chitalishte "Svetlina 1999" presented not only what they have done but also the experience of the other Chitalishtes in the AGORA Platform project that were directly linked with the implementation of the forthcoming initiative.
The Chitalishtes from Cherven bryag Municipality learnt more about: the ways for organizing public discussions to be held at each of the settlements, principles and methodology for carrying out fundraising campaigns, the normative regulation for ensuring accessible environment. In the training, specific attention was drawn to the methodical function of the Public Center "Svetlina" that was established during the first project phase of AGORA Platform's project.
The participants in the training received a lot of printed materials and practical tools to guide them in the implementation of their future initiatives.
The training was delivered by Mr. Tihomir Konstantinov, Project Coordinator at Chitalishte "Svetlina", Mrs. Petya Kircheva, former Head of Public Center "Svetlina" and Mr. Krastyo Vatcov, Accessible Environment expert, former Chairman of "Rotary Club" in Cherven bryag and construction developer.The information was provided by the team of Public Center "Svetlina", Cherven bryag.
