On October 28, Chitalishte "Napredak 1871" and School "Hristo Botev" in Nikopol organized a remembrance ceremony with presenting a wreath of acknowledgment at the Memorable Plate of the Nikopol's Spiritual Leaders. An exciting speech was delivered by Mr. Luben Naidenov who is a literature teacher, editor of "Nikopolski horizonti" newspaper and a Head of the Chitalishte's Children Center "Friends of the homeland and guards of the historic and cultural homeland memorabilia".

The results of the contest „November 01st - the Day of Bulgaria's Spiritual Leaders" were publicly announced. The pupils awarded in the category "Reading of Poetry" for the spiritual leaders were: Nancy Krasenova and Krasimir Georgiev (3rd grade), Patricia Petrova (2nd grade), Vanesa Naidenova (4th grade) and Sevgi Bekirova (2nd grade).

The theme for the painters was „Our Spiritual Leaders". Prizes were awarded to Giuliai Dermendjieva (7th grade) and to Biliana Todorova (9th grade). The best essays on „The Spiritual Leaders - Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow" were written by Tiuliai T. Fahriema and Venelina Gandileva (11th grade). The Memorable Plate is the physical location where pupils and citizens for a second year in a row express their acknowledgment for the life and works of Nikopol's spiritual leaders. The Memorable Plate was created in 2010 with donations from many citizens and companies from all over the country in the framework of the AGORA Platform's project "Activating Communities through the Chitalishta in Bulgaria: first phase", funded by America for Bulgaria Foundation.
