Festival of Generations – Burgas

Platform AGORA - branch Burgas already launched the festival season with "Festival of Generations" in Luleburgaz, Turkey at the end of May 2015. Now, the first edition of the Festival in Burgas is coming. Together with the partners from Secondary School "Episkop Konstantin Preslavski" - Burgas and Lüleburgaz High School, Turkey we have the pleasure to invite the residents and guests of Burgas to the "Festival of Generations" with International Conference "Knowledge for Generations."
The International Conference "Knowledge for Generations" will be held on June 05th, 2015 in the Cultural Center "Morsko Casino", hall "Petya Dubarova". The main topic as during the conference in Luleburgaz will be the continuity between generations, how the genealogical tree have been built, the research process and what the students have leant during the field work. The presentation of the results and the products by the students themselves during the events is the most valuable and recognizable appreciation for their work and efforts. The compiled "Generations Vocabulary" will be presented during the conference as well.
The Festival of Generations - Burgas will be held on June 06th, 2015 on the summer stage "Ohliova" in the Sea Garden. In the open spaces the youth will present their experience through sharing with the visitors „How to Make a Family Tree?" and let them know about the results of their work. The photo exhibition "Generations" could be viewed there as well.
At the Festival of Generations - Burgas will be the Bulgarian premiere of the cultural products - the theater performance "Once, ever" of the students from Secondary School "Bishop Konstantin Preslavski", Burgas and the music and dance show "Generations Dance" of the guests from Luleburgaz High School, Turkey.
On the open summer stage students from Secondary School "Bishop Konstantin Preslavski", Burgas will perform Latin American and standard dances, majorette dance, vocal group "Morski zvancheta", Daren Radev, Rock Band "For A Distance", as well as performances by guest amateur folklore groups from the cross-border region.
The citizens and guests of Burgas will have the opportunity to sense the magic of theater, music and dance and to enjoy the performance of both partner schools' students who worked hard for the last eight months. Thus, together we will contribute to the enhancement of the cross-border contacts and will facilitate the development of the cultural and educational cooperation between the students from the two neighboring countries.
