"Empower the Change" Exhibition has been Opened

The exhibition of photographs shows situations, emotions and peoples' moods captured in 34 settlements in Bulgaria. The shots were taken in the period 2010 - 2012 and reflect the satisfaction of the local residents of finding solutions to important community issues.

The exhibition encompassed photographs from diverse community initiatives - ranging from festival and celebrations to stimulation of the local philanthropy, ecology, campaigns for improvement of the living conditions and environment, creation of pleasant and accessible areas for games and recreation of children and elderly people. The emotions of actual participants in the events have been saved in and are visible in the photos.

The exhibition was opened on November 29th, 2012 in "Alexander" Hall, Radisson Blu Grand Hotel as part of the Forum "Empower the Change". The opening was an activity held within the Forum, that was organized as a partnership event of Platform AGORA and Bulgarian Donors' Forum, financially supported by America for Bulgaria Foundation. The Forum "Empower the Change" was organized to accumulate support from corporate and individual donors for seven pre-selected civic initiatives related with ecology, aviation, accessible environment, tourism, flower beds and colorful dreams, grapes and wine.
