The Fundraising Campaign "Local Philanthropy – Mission Possible" Kicked Off in Nikopol

The fundraising campaign "Local Philanthropy - Mission Possible" in Nikopol kicked off with the charitable exhibition bazaar with items painted by Mrs. Anelia Dimitrova in the framework of Platform AGORA's project "Activating Communities through the Chitalishtes in Bulgaria: second phase". Chitalishte "Napredak 1871", Nikopol and the local community are going to jointly implement the initiative "Youth Volunteering Center", supported by Platform AGORA and funded by America for Bulgaria Foundation. Established and already tested fundraising tools will be enhanced with introduction of innovative for the territory of Nikopol and the region initiatives.

Mrs. Anelia Dimitrova provided two types of hand-painted items for the exhibition: Nikopol's historical and cultural sites painted on wood and various glass painted items as well. All items are unique and professionally made. Part of the funds raised will be donated by the artist for the implementation of the local initiative. As an active Chitalishte member Mrs. Dimitrova is part of the project team responsible for the coordination of activities with the municipal administration in Nikopol where she is a chief expert at "Investments and Projects" Department.
