"The Rose" triptych awaits you in Karlovo

Within the project "Active Communities: Building Capacity for Change" of Platform AGORA and Karlovo Municipality, supported by America for Bulgaria Foundation a triptych "The Rose" was created. The young Sofia based artists Yoan Tsekov, Nikolay Petrov and Atanas Levakov enlivened the east wall of the City Library with their art as part of the "Artists for Development" section of the project.  

The triptych was officially inaugurated by Mr. Anton Minev, deputy-mayor of Karlovo Municipality on the day of opening of the Rose Festival.  Mrs. Emilia Lissichkova – Chairperson of Platform AGORA, Mrs. Diana Trifonova – representative of America for Bulgaria Foundation, Yoan Tsekov – one of the artists were present at the inauguration. Yoan presented to the citizens the idea and the innovative representation of traditions in the Karlovo region.
